Adding Page Elements

Quickly customize each page of your study with text, measures, inputs, and other elements with Glisten IQ’s easy to use workspace.

Pages Overview

In Glisten IQ, each project is made up of a series of pages. To access a page, go to the Pages tab. From the Pages tab, click on the page you want to edit.

Each page is pre-loaded with a sample text element and a Click to Continue button. These elements can be customized.

Add, Move, and Edit an Element

Hover over an element with your mouse. Three icons will appear to the left of the element.

  • The plus icon allows you to add an element below the current element.

  • The arrows icon allows you to move an element’s position on the page.

  • The pencil icon allows you to edit an existing element.

Add an Element

To add an element, hover over the element just above where you want your new element to be positioned. Don’t worry too much about the position at this point. You can always move it later.

Note that when your mouse hovers over the plus icon, an orange dotted line will display where on the page the new element will be positioned.

Click on the “plus” icon, and the element selection window will appear.

In the element selection window, select the type of element you want to add. You can also start typing the name of the element in the search bar. Some types of elements available are:

  • Text content

  • Button (for triggering actions)

  • Link button (add a link to an external website)

  • Next button

  • Boolean response buttons

  • Continuous response input

  • Likert scale

  • Number input

  • Participant ID input

  • Radio input

  • Text input

  • Audio stimuli

  • Image stimuli

  • Video stimuli

Each element is customizable using the format pane in the right sidebar. To customize an element, hover over it with the mouse and click the edit pencil icon.

To move an element up or down on the page, hover over the element with your mouse. Click on the arrows icon to the left, and drag the element up or down to the desired position.
